Norwich City to Use Hwang Ui-jo…QPR One-Top Selection

Hwang Ui-jo, a controversial national football striker who was questioned by the police for illegal filming, was named on the starting list in his first match after returning to England.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s cybercrime investigation team summoned Hwang Ui-jo on charges of illegal filming on the 17th. The police asked for an arrest warrant for A, and it was found to be Hwang Ui-jo’s brother-in-law. Until now, Hwang Ui-jo was considered a one-sided victim.

However, the case entered a new phase on the 21st when Hwang’s ex-lover sued Hwang through a legal representative, claiming, “I had dated Hwang, but I had never agreed to shoot a sensitive video at that time or after, and I have been asking him to delete it,” and “Hwang lied through the media that he filmed it under agreement with his ex-lover instead of looking back and reflecting on his wrongdoings, leaving irreversible wounds and trauma to the victim.”

Jurgen Klinsmann, who leads the national team, emphasized that Hwang Ui-jo’s participation is justified, citing that no ruling has been made yet. Since then, Norwich City’s club has drawn attention by informing them that they are aware of Hwang Ui-jo’s case, but they have decided to use it in the game and have been named in the starting lineup.

Hwang Ui-jo, who signed with Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League last summer, was immediately loaned to Olympiacos, but he played for K League 1 FC Seoul for six months in the first half of this year due to his lack of performance.
