KIM WINS THREE GOLD MADALS IN THE WOMEN’S HEAVYWEIGHT CATEGORY AT THE ASIAN JUNIOR WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS

SEOUL (Yonhap) — Kim Hyo-en, 20, of Korea Gymnastics, won three gold medals in the women’s heaviest weight class (87 kg and above) at the 2023 Asian Junior Weightlifting Championships .Kim finished first in the women’s 87kg and over category at the tournament in Delhi, India, on Thursday (Nov. 4) with a lift of 109kg, a snatch of 141kg and a total of 250kg.At the Olympic and Asian Games, medals are awarded for the total, but at the Asian Junior Weightlifting Championships, medals are awarded for the lifts, snatch, and total .Kim fought hard against Wang Ling-Jen (Chinese Taipei).In the impression, Kim lifted 109 kilograms to defeat Wang Ling-jeon, who 스포츠토토링크 lifted 108 kilograms, and in the keirin, Kim edged Wang Ling-jeon, who lifted 140 kilograms, by one kilogram.
