Banned and Best Las Vegas Sports Books Edition

The NFL starts the season in less than a week, so it’s the perfect time to offer Casino City’s Gary Trask’s 10 favorite Las Vegas sports books, and he did exactly that on Monday. Before sitting down and looking at where betting can be cashed, there are restaurants in Wisconsin casinos, a new property in Louisiana that welcomes guests for the first time, Venice Las Vegas, and Ontario, which bans celebrities and athletes from engaging in gambling advertising. 경마사이트

  1. Rock and Bruce Restaurant Coming to Potawatomi Carter Casino
Today, Forest County Potawatomi and the Rock & Bruges team will extend their partnership with a one-day program that will allow Wisconsin residents to feel “rock & roll” overnight, starting with the construction of a restaurant in the Potawatomi Carter casino hotel.

Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons will participate in the first demolition of the 5,280-square-foot restaurant. Later that evening, the duo will join their bandmates to perform at Crandon International Raceway as part of KISS’s End of the Road Tour.

Wisconsin’s first rock and blues restaurant opened on Aug. 1 at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee. The 250-seat restaurant was an integral part of the property’s extensive $190 million renovation.

  1. Queen Baton Rouge and DraftKings Sports Book Celebrate Grand Open
The Queen Baton Luge and Draft Kings Sports Book was officially held on Aug. 25, welcoming more than 1,000 guests who lined up outdoors to welcome the first 100,000-square-foot casino to Louisiana.

The ribbon was officially cut earlier that night by Lydia Chenert, a 30-year employee of Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge, a historic riverboat casino. Queen Baton Rouge, an $85 million redevelopment, is the city’s first land casino.

  1. Big Things Happen in Las Vegas, Venetian
In this week’s latest issue of gambling, J. Todd talks about Venice’s Las Vegas unveiling of a redesigned sports book, but at the same time announces another change that doesn’t suit customers.

Last Thursday, the amazing casino resort on the Las Vegas Strip announced Yahoo Sportsbook’s multi-year naming rights partnership. The venue covers more than 12,000 square feet and features a 46-megapixel, 1,770-square-foot LED video wall that can display up to 40 independent sporting events at once. An additional 30 TVs are spread throughout the book.

It’s bad news. Customers used to expect free parking on the strip, but now it’s a courtesy they don’t see at Venetian Hotel and Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino.

Under the new guidelines, Venice and Palazzo hotels charge $15 for up to four hours and $18 per hour for up to 24 hours from Monday to Thursday. Fares jump to $23 a day from Friday to Sunday. The parking service will keep the price at $35 a day, and it’s starting to sound cheaper.

There is speculation that Venice is closing its free parking lot because of the Spear Open, which quickly became the city’s largest free show, and Spear is located behind Venice, attracting everyone to the parking lot.

  1. Top 10 Favorite Sports Books in Las Vegas
If you offer Gary Trask a comfortable seat, a wide TV screen showing multiple games, and the ability to bet on those games, it would be pretty hard for him to have a bad time.

As the new football season approaches, it is ideal to release a list of the best sports books in Las Vegas after hours of “research” during multiple trips to the desert.

Bellagio
The book, now known as Belagio’s BetMGM Sportsbook, may not match other books on this list in terms of screen clarity, but its layout is exceptional. The brown leather chair evokes the feel of a dentist’s chair, but it invites a cocktail server, leaning back and looking at the 13 jumbo screens. Cocktail servers give you a completely different vibe than normal tooth cleaning when you tip well.

The 5,600-square-foot venue, which can accommodate about 200 guests, is an ideal choice if you’re looking for individual seats with a personal monitor, and in addition to its wide screen, the book boasts 38 flat-screen TVs.

Win Race & Sports Book
137 feet x 11 feet, 21 million pixels of LED video wall, curved layout, an additional 35 TV monitors, and the brightest and easiest-to-read Oz board in Las Vegas, there’s literally no bad spot at home in Win Las Vegas.

  1. Ontario bans celebrity use in online gambling ads
Forever, companies have used celebrities to attract the attention of their target customers in advertising. While companies aim to make money, Ontario’s Alcohol Gaming Board has other priorities to protect minors from iGaming advertising and marketing strategies.

On Wednesday, AGCO updated Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming to ban the use of athletes, celebrities, role models, social media influencers, celebrities, cartoon characters and symbols in Internet game advertising and marketing in Canada. This revised standard will come into effect on February 28, 2024.

This came to light after AGCO noticed that iGaming companies were using athletes to appeal to minors in advertising campaigns.

Active or retired athletes will only be able to appear in ads promoting responsible gambling practices.
