U-18 national baseball team beat Mexico to secure third place…Advance to the Super Round

The South Korean national team, led by head coach Lee Young-bok (Chungam High School), won 2-1 against Mexico in Group A of the tournament in Taichung, Taiwan, on the 5th. After losing the first match against Taiwan, South Korea won three consecutive games against the Czech Republic, Australia and Mexico, securing third place in Group A with three wins and one loss.

South Korea will play its final group match against Puerto Rico (three wins), which is currently in second place, on the 6th. In the Baseball World Cup, the top three teams in Group A and Group B will play a super round full league, and the teams that advance to the finals and the 3rd to 4th place will be determined by their combined results.
