San Manuel Gaming Acquires Palms Casino Resort

Mission Indians’ San Manuel Band and San Manuel Game and Hospitality authorities today announced a definitive agreement for a subsidiary of SMGHA to acquire The Farms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Red Rock Resorts Inc. The transaction is expected to close later in 2021, subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions.

“Today marks an important step towards the tribe and its long-term economic diversification strategy,” said San Manuel President Ken Ramirez. “On behalf of the tribe, we are grateful for the opportunity to participate in the community we have come to know and appreciate.”

For years, the tribe has shown interest and support for the Las Vegas community through contributions to nonprofits and Las Vegas organizations. UNLV’s William F. Harrah College of Hospitality and William S. Boyd School of Law, the Public Education Foundation and Shade Tree Sanctuary, the Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant Stadium, and partnerships with the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

“Parms is a well-designed property that was beautifully redeveloped and maintained by Red Rock Resorts. Our board believes that Farms is a casino resort that many of our loyal guests at San Manuel Casino can enjoy,” said SMGHA President Latisha Casas. “We are excited to be able to take this deal forward.”
