Lashing City Group Shows Interest in Korean Football

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) based Lashing City Group, which operates in soccer across Europe, South America and the Middle East, has acknowledged its interest in Korean soccer.

Maurice Paniello, co-founder of Lasing City Group, answered the question, “How do you assess the investment value of Korean soccer,” with a rough business plan at a press conference held at the Fairmont Ambassador Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, on the afternoon of Nov. 11.

“We are a group that specializes in soccer and owns 14 clubs around the world,” said Paniello, a former FIFA agent who founded Lashing City Group in 2018, “and we also develop a lot of players.”

“We want to build a large (soccer) academy in Korea,” he said, “and the goal is to produce players through this academy and send them to Europe and the world.”

Ahead of this ‘big picture‘, Lasing City Group is planning a ‘Legends All-Star Game’ to be held on October 21 at Goyang Sports Complex.

On the 10th of last month, legendary Brazilian striker Ronaldinho and Italian defenders Fabio Cannavaro and Marco Materazzi visited Korea to promote the all-star game.

On the same day, Julio Cesar, a former goalkeeper for the Brazilian national team, and Gianluca Cambrotta and Massimo Odoi, who played as fullbacks for the Italian national team, met with Korean reporters.

“This is a chance for us to show the fans how much we love soccer,” said Cesar, “and we are grateful for the opportunity to unite with our contemporaries.”

Odo added: “We have been honored to share the same era. It’s important to capitalize on that feeling and play together as a team.”

“They say it’s a friendly, but when they step on the field, they’re going to play to win. We’re not going to take it easy, so be prepared,” he laughed.

As a country that experienced the heartbreak of Cristiano Ronaldo (Alnasr), the soccer star of the century, not taking the field during his visit to South Korea in 2019 while playing for Juventus (Italy), the possibility of “no-shows” should be considered when gathering such a prestigious group of legends.

When asked about this, Paniello said, “As you know, not everyone is active. There are a lot of players who 메이저토토사이트 can’t play.” “Those who can play will play. But for those who can’t play, it’s meaningful just to be there,” he said.

“The purpose of the event is to celebrate the coming together of legends,” he said, “but also to empower Korean soccer and open the way to send dreamers to Europe and the world. I hope you will think of it as a way to develop Korean soccer.”
