Jang Sung-woo took the sixth pitch from Han Hyun-hee, but the ball was not caught by Jeon Joon-woo in left field, and both runners came home. Park Young-hyun took the mound to close out the ninth inning and end the game.

KT starter Uhm Sang-baek gave up two runs on four hits, one home run, two walks, and seven strikeouts in six innings.

“All the players had a strong will to end the losing streak,” said manager Lee Kang-cheol after the game, “Uhm Sang-baek fulfilled his role as a starter, and the bullpen did a good job of minimizing runs.”

“In the batting order, the top of the order was very focused. Baek-ho Kang’s three-run home run to set the tone for the game stood out, and Jang Sung-woo’s game-winning hit at the end sealed the victory.”

“Thank you to the players for their hard work and to the fans for their support,” he added.
