Shim Yu-ri (29, Team Genius), who was the Road FC Atomweight Champion, returned the title, and Park Jung-eun (27, Team Strongwolf) became the provisional Atomweight Champion. After becoming the champion, Shim Yu-ri has not been able to play due to personal reasons. As the situation of not being able to play the title continued, Shim Yu-ri eventually decided to return the title. Road FC accepted the return of the title in respect of Shim Yu-ri’s will and confirmed Park Jung-eun as the provisional atomweight champion.
Park Jung-eun has been the champion in the title competition with Ham Seo-hee, the first atomweight champion, in 2018, and Shim Yu-ri in 2021. She has proved her competence by judging in both titles. In particular, she was neck-and-neck with Shim, so Road FC decided Park as the provisional atomweight champion. The title competition for the provisional champion will take place early next year.
