After recently describing casinos in Atlantic City as “enemies,” Steve Wynn is trying to make money from online gambling in New Jersey.
The state, which has seen a steady decline in gaming revenue from traditional offline casinos over the past few years, legalized online gambling earlier this year, with some sites expected to debut this fall.
Win Interactive, a subsidiary of Wynn Resorts, Limited, and Wynn Interactive LLC, is one of 37 companies that have applied for online gaming licenses in New Jersey. Currently, Las Vegas-based Wynn Resorts does not own a casino in Atlantic City. 파친코
As a result, the company will have to work with an existing casino licensee in New Jersey to offer online gaming. Atlantic City has 12 properties, with only levels and Atlantic clubs without an online partner.
Wynn Resorts operates casinos in Las Vegas and Macau. The game company is building Wyn Palace, a $4 billion casino resort in Macau’s Cotai Strip, and is pushing for approval to build resorts in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
