The Korean women’s volleyball team (ranked 36th in the world) fell to Italy (ranked fifth) in the first match of the Paris 2024 Olympic Qualification .Head coach Cesar Hernández González’s side fell to the Italians 0-3 (11-25 20-25 17-25) in straight sets in the first match of Group C in Łódź, Poland on 17 July.
