Caesars Entertainment Strengthens Caesars Palace’s Colosseum

Caesars Entertainment today announced plans to renovate Caesars Palace’s Colosseum, with significant technical and design updates to the landmark site recognized as Billboard magazine’s “Place of the Decade.” The Colosseum will go through an exciting evolution that incorporates new state-of-the-art sound systems, new moving light fixtures, and high-definition LED video walls into the technical capabilities of the space while still retaining the iconic theater’s famous characters and reputation. In addition, the world’s largest venue can now facilitate multiple seating arrangements, including a VIP banquet with bottle service and general admission facilities on the main floor, to accommodate many genres and entertainment experiences for guests through the city’s only automatic lift seating system.

Caesars Entertainment is taking over operational control of the Colosseum and launching a partnership with Live Nation, the world’s No. 1 live entertainment promoter. Together, the two industry leaders will boost their experience with more than 400,000 guests that they host every year, as well as a list of legendary artists. 온라인카지노

“We’re excited to make the best entertainment experience in Las Vegas even better by enhancing the Coliseum at Caesars Palace with its innovative design and unique elements,” said Jason Gastworth, president of Caesars Entertainment. “The timing of these improvements couldn’t be better, as Caesars Entertainment and Live Nation are now collaborating to program the Coliseum with the promise of bringing global performers to this refreshing and iconic entertainment venue. The best seats in Las Vegas just got better.”

“Artist enclaves have become the dominant form of theater entertainment in Las Vegas. Fans all over the world come to Las Vegas to see their favorite stars perform in intimate settings with amazing productions that cannot be found anywhere else,” said Kurt Melien, president of Live Nation Las Vegas. “The world’s most legendary artists have shone from the start of the Colosseum, and we’re excited to partner with Caesars Entertainment to create a hub for live entertainment that is unmatched by any other destination in the world.”

Since its opening in 2003, the Colosseum has transformed the live music experience on the streets of Las Vegas by pioneering the modern artist habitation model and successfully welcoming some of the biggest superstars in entertainment to the city.

The Colosseum will undergo a refurbishment in early July, marking the first major update to its space since its revolutionary debut on the Las Vegas Strip when it was built for the epic opening of Celine Dion’s decades-long Las Vegas residence. The Colosseum renovation will begin on July 6 after the last date of Reba, Brooks & Dunn, and will reopen in early fall.
