Max Tapinarwyn Resorts UAE Project President Appointed

Global casino operator Wynn Resorts Ltd. has appointed Max Tapiner, pictured, as president of Wynn Al Marjan Island, which is under construction in the United Arab Emirates. This was announced in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday.

Mr. Tapiner is now vice president of operations at Win Las Vegas after joining him as senior vice president of real estate operations in 2022. He will take over as president of Win Al Mazan Island from September 1.

Mr. Tapiner is described as a hospitality veteran with more than 20 years of international experience, from working at small luxury boutique hotels to large casino resorts.

“I am humbled beyond grateful to join the Win Al Marjan Island team,” the executive said in his social media post. 파워볼사이트

“As the UAE’s first game operator, I’m looking forward to this exciting journey of expanding into new territory,” he added.

Win Resort, the parent company of Macau casino operator Win Resort, is currently developing Win Al Marjan Island in Ras al-Kaima, one of the emirates of the UAE. The project was described as a $3.9 billion venture project involving local partners, with Win Resort being a 40 percent stake investor.

The facility on Wynn Al Marjan Island will include a 1,542-room hotel, including 22 private villas in the marina adjacent to the resort. The property will also include a 7,500-square-meter event center, a 15,000-square-meter retail venue, and more than 20 restaurants, bars, and theaters, according to Wynn Resorts.

Earlier this year, Wynn Resorts said the UAE project will be “opened to the public in early 2027. CBRE recently revealed that the venture could generate a gross gaming revenue (GGR) of $1.4 billion (W1 trillion) per year.

In July, the official website of the Commercial Game Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), the UAE’s gambling regulator, was opened to the public. The UAE also announced the first lottery permit for a federal state.
